I left out last blog-Sunday. I'm terribly sorry. But I'll provide you with an insight to my working space in school :)  The pictures at the wall continually shift, which is a nice thing. These are the latest inspirational designs and portraits.

lazy daze

I almost forgot about my sunday-blog-posting!
But I had the most wonderful lazy weekend with my <3

Where's Waldo?

Ok, there is no Waldo hidden anywhere. But still enough to spy! This time I'll show you the latest of my train-people-spotting and character designs. Those have kept me busy the last few months. I really got used to drawing people in the train in the morning on my way to animation-school.

You may have noticed that there are a few peculiar looking drawings on the character design picture... The last week I wasn't allowed to draw because of a tennis elbow. So the left one had to take over. Using a pitt artist pen I must say the results are quite okay. I really hope that this injury won't last longer than a week!
By the way, we are working on a icy fairy tale in school. I'm very excited about it - and so looking forward to our film :-3

when the night comes

A couple of weeks ago we were taught a bit in Adobe After Effects. It's a short and moody composition:

This one was supposed to be uploaded at spreadshirt as a glow-in-the-dark-print, but somehow I am always too stupid to do it the right way... Now it remains a wallpaper of a little barrow, trying to stay awake all night. Could be my sleep-detesting niece! ;-)

color

If you look closely, the undermost scribble on the left is the one that led to the interior below. The interiors show exercises with gouache, color use and finding the right light/shadow situations.
That room gave me a real hard time! o_O))

also on the left page: trying to make a character out of my boyfriend.

Uniporn

Before learning animation on paper etc we dealt with a certain animation program called TV Paint. This is my result: a porn unicorn in a magical forest~

boys 'n girls

I've been to Dr. Sketchy last week. Some more or less burlesque clothed girls pose 5-15 minutes in a small bar. It was very funny :-)

And to keep the balance: two random male characters that I developed some time ago. One hot, one not. Only which way round? ...such a difficult question.

fail

I entered two designs in the muse t-shirt contest. Unfortunately it wasn't chosen for the "re-call". What a pity. The women were too specific. Here are the finalists http://muse.mu/images/172/t-shirt-competition-finalists/
Nontheless I like the images I created, even if one is taken directly from my photo :P

Hmm. I guess sunday will be my blog-day. So keep on watching :)

Island

There's a mystycal island, noone has ever been to before (but actaully it's the seychelles, photo reference) where strong women hunt. It's a cross-breed of Pocahontas and Chun-Li!

something bad, something good, something black

First the bad one: interiours give me the shivers. It's very hard for me to draw rooms with furniture and stuff. But in school we have to do this right now :( Poor me. This is one messy something from my sketchbook. Actually I am just showing it because of the little candybirds I needed to put in there so my brain could relax for a second.

The good thing: I finally had the time to make a first sketch from hamburg! Color: gouache. New to me, but I like it very much.

Am Diebsteich

And finally: a small avatar for my love :) I hope, he likes it.
